The catalogue was published to coincide with the Hippolyte Hentgen retrospective exhibition at the Musée de l’Abbaye Sainte-Croix in Les Sables d’Olonne from 18 October 2015 to 17 January 2016. Richly illustrated with exhibition views and works, it chronologically traces their artistic career since 2008. A text by Laurent Goumarre, radio and television presenter and producer, who is also a connoisseur of Hippolyte Hentgen’s work, and an interview conducted by Erik Verhagen, historian and art critic, lecturer at the University of Valenciennes, complete the book.
